Barnes Aerospace Appoints Michael Mosley as Chief Executive Officer

BRISTOL, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 23, 2026--

Barnes Aerospace, a global provider of aftermarket component repair & overhaul (CRO) services and manufacturer of highly-engineered parts primarily for aeroengines, today announced the appointment of Michael Mosley as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 26, 2026. Additionally, Thomas Mepham, who currently serves as Interim CEO and a member of the Barnes Aerospace Board of Directors, will assume the role of Executive Chair of the Board.

Mr. Mosley brings deep aerospace industry, operational, and general management experience to Barnes Aerospace. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer and President, Castings and Metals at Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC), a global leader of complex products serving the aerospace and industrial markets. Prior to PCC, Mr. Mosley spent his career at Rolls-Royce, where he held a range of senior leadership roles across operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and global aerospace programs. Mr. Mosley has served on the Barnes Aerospace Board of Directors since May 2025, providing him with strong familiarity with the company’s strategy, operations, and leadership team.
