NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 7, 2026--
Lynq, the real-time interest-bearing settlement network, and Crypto.com, the global cryptocurrency exchange and financial services platform, announced that their integration to enable the Exchange to accept collateral via Lynq is now live. The solution, first announced earlier this year, enables institutional clients of the Crypto.com Exchange to fund their accounts directly through Lynq’s settlement platform. Aquanow, DV Chain, GSR, Nonco, and Wintermute were the first clients to fund their accounts using the solution.
Fragmented liquidity, idle capital, and security have long been major challenges in digital asset markets. By connecting exchange funding directly to Lynq’s real-time, interest-bearing settlement layer, institutional clients can now use Lynq to fund and manage their Crypto.com Exchange accounts more effectively, with faster, more transparent, and capital-efficient workflows. Lynq joins Fedwire, SWIFT and CUBIX as U.S. Dollar options for institutional on and off ramp solutions provided by Crypto.com.
“After working on this integration in tandem with the Crypto.com team for the past few months, we are pleased to see Aquanow, DV Chain, GSR, Nonco, and Wintermute use the integration on day one—a milestone that highlights the importance of exchange connectivity in delivering efficient, institutional-grade settlement,” said Jerald David, CEO of Lynq. “This launch is another step toward assembling a network of trusted counterparties that enhances capital efficiency and operational resilience across digital asset markets.”
“For active trading firms like Wintermute, efficient on- and off-ramps are essential to collateral management,” said Marcus Hau, Global Head of Middle Office at Wintermute. Building on that need for seamless capital movement, Jakob Palmstierna, President at GSR added, “Lynq’s integration with Crypto.com gives us a faster, more reliable way to move capital while earning interest throughout the process.”
Andrew Rizkalla, Global Head of Sales at Aquanow, echoed the importance of institutional-grade infrastructure, noting, “With brokers operating across multiple jurisdictions, it’s key for us to have infrastructure that strengthens liquidity management across our trading workflows.” Emphasizing the importance of scale, José Reyes, Strategic Operations at Nonco, stated, “Lynq’s real-time, interest-bearing funding gives Nonco faster and more capital-efficient balance management—exactly the infrastructure institutional trading needs as it scales.”
Since joining Lynq as a launch partner in May 2025, Crypto.com has worked closely with the Lynq network to extend institutional access and unlock direct funding capabilities through Lynq’s real-time settlement infrastructure. The partnership now moves into full production, expanding funding optionality and advancing the broader goal of building operationally robust, on-chain settlement solutions for institutional participants.
“Our partnership with Lynq delivers meaningful infrastructure improvements for our institutional clients,” said Karl Turner, Director at Crypto.com. “With this integration, our clients gain faster access to exchange funding and the efficiency of on-chain settlement – both critical components in advancing the next phase of institutional digital asset trading.”
Crypto.com’s participation further solidifies Lynq’s foundation as a network “built by the industry, for the industry.” Lynq was created to unify fragmented digital asset settlement and enhance institutional infrastructure. Early adopters include B2C2, Galaxy, FalconX, Fireblocks, and over twenty other industry participants. Crypto.com Exchange’s live integration deepens institutional connectivity and advances transparent, real-time settlement throughout the Lynq ecosystem.
“Efficient collateral movement is critical to how institutional trading desks operate. Lynq’s new integration with Crypto.com delivers exactly that. DV Chain is pleased to support this launch and leverage infrastructure that meaningfully improves liquidity management across trading operations,” finished Michael Rabkin, Global Head of Business Development at DV Chain.
