Great Mountain Partners Closes Dedicated Media & Entertainment Investment Fund

NEW HAVEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 9, 2025--

Great Mountain Partners (“GMP”) today announced the closing of Saranac Holdings LP (“Saranac”), a $600M single-investor fund formed to pursue investments across the media and entertainment ecosystem, including music, film and television, sports, gaming, and live entertainment.

Backed by a single institutional investor, Saranac has been established to capitalize on long-term secular tailwinds shaping content creation, distribution, and monetization, as well as the accelerating convergence of media, technology, and consumer experiences. The fund will seek lower middle market control and/or influential minority investments in businesses, with a focus on scalable platforms, differentiated IP and rights strategies, and opportunities to drive growth through operational value creation.
