Hilgers PLLC Unveils New Leadership Structure, Firm Name

LINCOLN, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 11, 2025--

Leading commercial litigation and discovery counsel services law firm Hilgers PLLC is announcing a new firm management structure, with founding partner Heather Hilgers in the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Joining Ms. Hilgers in top leadership roles are Sterling Miller, who takes on the position of Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel; attorney Carrie Dolton, who will continue as Head of Discovery Counsel Services; and attorney Mike Merriman, who will continue as Head of Litigation.

In addition to the management changes, the firm, which has been known as Hilgers Graben, is now Hilgers PLLC. The change reflects the next chapter of the firm, as well as the departure of name partner Andrew Graben, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
