Jonathan Burks, Director of Finance
Burks brings finance and operations leadership experience to Nelson-Rudie, most recently as senior business operations manager at Comcast.
“Jonathan’s financial expertise and leadership will be instrumental as Nelson-Rudie enters this next chapter,” said Matthew Elhadad, president and CEO. “His ability to align strategy with operational execution will help the company deliver greater value to our teams and clients.”
As director of finance, Burks will lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting while supporting strategic decision‑making across the organization. He will work closely with leadership and project teams to strengthen financial visibility and support Nelson‑Rudie’s continued growth.
Reflecting on his new role, Burks shared, “I’m excited to be joining the leadership team at Nelson‑Rudie during such a pivotal time. I look forward to strengthening our financial strategies and supporting the company’s vision for the future.”
Nelson‑Rudie also promoted Micheal Anderson, PE, to chief mechanical engineer, underscoring the firm’s focus on disciplined design leadership and rigorous review processes.
Anderson has been with Nelson-Rudie since 2012 and is a licensed professional engineer with experience leading complex mechanical systems projects, including municipal ice arena and recreation facility upgrades, as well as store additions and renovations for a national retail chain. In his new role, he will guide firmwide mechanical practice, support mentorship and technical training, and help ensure consistent delivery across project teams.
“Micheal’s promotion reinforces our standards of quality for both our teams and our clients,” Elhadad said. “His leadership will help ensure consistency, accountability, and technical excellence across the firm.”
Together, these leadership updates reflect Nelson-Rudie’s continued investment in its people, its clients, and its future - strengthening the systems, standards, and strategies that support sustainable growth.
