Today, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, a free-to-play third-person RPG shooter mobile game set in a massive urban open world, is now available worldwide* on iOS and Android devices. Rated M for Mature / PEGI 18, the game takes place within The Division universe, set between the events of The Division and The Division 2.

Developed by a team of experts within Ubisoft Mobile Games,** The Division Resurgence features a brand-new standalone campaign. The game puts players into the shoes of a newly activated Division agent during the Green Poison outbreak in New York City. As institutions struggle to maintain order and opportunistic factions rise, players experience the critical moment when society begins to fracture. Either solo or in a team with up to three other agents, players will need to protect civilians, push back hostile factions, and help restore stability to the city.

The Division Resurgence brings extensive RPG progression through multiple specializations with signature weapons and unique gadgets, extensive gear and weapon customization, and the flexibility to switch roles at any time to match playstyle or team needs. Optimized mobile controls deliver smooth, responsive gameplay across all modes, including the iconic PvPvE Dark Zone.

The Division Resurgence brings a variety of features, including several created specifically for the mobile experience, to an open world New York City urban environment:

New Story campaign:
- Bootcamp: an onboarding tutorial for players to learn the basic commands, cover system, and choose their specialization.
- Main missions: a variety of missions where players fight chaos, help civilians, and restore order to the city.
Solo and Co-Op activities:
- Dark Zone: a unique PvPvE open world area that challenges players with its high-stakes extraction mode
- Conflict: a dedicated PvP competitive mode that requires players to control the map within a limited time
- Shared open world activities: players can secure outposts, disrupt deals, rescue hostages, complete weekly quests, and more.
End Game activities:
- Legendary Challenge: a mode that allows players to replay a main mission at random at Ultimate Difficulty
- Lone Wolf Challenge: training stages where players progress to higher levels and earn better rewards based on performance
- Clan activities: players can join a clan, contribute resources and upgrade clan facilities to unlock useful functions
Five specializations, each with unique skills and powerful ultimate abilities: Demolitionist, Bulwark, Field Medic, Tech Operator, and Vanguard
Four enemy factions: Raiders, Rikers, Cleaners, and a brand-new faction, Freemen, known for their exotic, home-made weapons and their obsession with scavenging and hoarding anything that could be of any possible use.
