W3i Software to Build ShieldUSD: A Privacy-Preserving USD Stablecoin for the Midnight Network

W3i Software, Inc., a blockchain infrastructure company focused on regulated stablecoin and financial applications, today announced shieldUSD, a USD stablecoin designed for the Midnight Network. ShieldUSD will be co-issued by Moneta Digital LLC and Norwegian Block Exchange AS, pairing regulated issuance with Midnight’s rational privacy architecture.

ShieldUSD is being developed to support real-world payments and financial workflows that require confidentiality, such as payroll, B2B settlement, and institutional DeFi, while enabling compliance, auditability, and selective disclosure. By combining regulated issuance with Midnight’s rational privacy architecture, ShieldUSD enables participants to cryptographically prove that transactions are valid and compliant without making sensitive commercial or personal data public by default.
