When Society Cheers The Killers & Forgets The Victims

A growing trend defends killers like Luigi Mangione, Tyler Robinson, and Lindsay Clancy—who strangled her three young children—by blaming mental illness, the system, or even her husband. At the same time, an army of supporters rallies for the perpetrator and erases the victims.

What Trump Should Be Saying About His Economy w/Economist EJ Antoni

In a world where economic uncertainty seems to be the new normal, a leading economist shares his insights on the current state of the US economy and what can be done to turn it around. This episode of the Carl Jackson Show delves into the intricacies of economic policy, government intervention, and the impact of recent events on the nation's finances. The conversation with EJ Antony of the Heritage Foundation is a must-listen for anyone interested in understanding the complexities of the economy. From the effects of the Iran war on global energy markets to the role of government regulation in shaping the economy, EJ provides a comprehensive analysis of the current situation. He also discusses the importance of supply chain management and the consequences of government intervention in various industries, including healthcare and education. One of the key takeaways from this episode is the need for a more nuanced understanding of the economy and the role of government in it. EJ argues that government involvement in certain sectors can lead to higher prices and decreased quality, rather than the intended benefits. He also highlights the importance of competition and the free market in driving innovation and reducing costs. If you're concerned about the state of the economy and want to understand the perspectives of a leading economist, this episode is a must-listen. Join Carl Jackson and EJ Antony as they discuss the challenges facing the US economy and what can be done to address them. Trump Admin's Back-To-School Agenda

Kim Richey, the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education, discusses the Trump administration's policies concerning Title IX and the rights of students in government-run schools. Richey emphasizes the administration's aggressive enforcement of Title IX to protect students from discrimination based on biological sex. She highlights recent actions against school districts that allow students to use facilities based on gender identity rather than biological sex, including placing them on high-risk status, which affects their federal funding. Richey advises parents to be aware of their school's policies regarding Title IX, gender identity, and pronoun use. She encourages parents to attend school board meetings, ask questions, and file complaints directly with the Department of Education if they believe their children's rights are being violated. Richey explains that parents do not need to wait for school boards to address their concerns before seeking federal intervention. She also addresses concerns about pronoun policies in schools and mentions that the Office for Civil Rights is monitoring and investigating cases where children are punished for using correct pronouns. Richey provides guidance on how parents can file complaints online through the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights website.

In The Wake Of Religion

People bristle when the United States of America is referred to as a Christian nation.  Technically, it is not.  There is freedom of religion baked into the Constitution.  Yet, the American ethos is decidedly Christian. “Ethos” is defined, “the distinguishing character, sentiment, moral nature, or guiding beliefs of a person, group, or institution.”  That’s not religion, but it can and generally does draw from the prevailing religious sentiment of the person, group or institution.  It would only be natural for such to be the case.. . .
