SAN ANTONIO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 27, 2026--
IVF Academy USA, the rapidly growing training institution for embryologists and fertility laboratory professionals, today announced the launch of its new OBGYN Clinic-Ready Fertility Services Accelerator Program, a 30-hour hybrid training designed to help board-certified OBGYNs integrate fertility services directly into their practices.
Under the leadership of Founder Dr. Anthony Anderson, D.H.Sc., ELD (ABB), a nationally recognized embryology laboratory director with more than 35 years of experience, IVF Academy USA is expanding its training portfolio to strengthen the broader fertility care ecosystem and improve patient access to early fertility services.
“Across the country, patients are waiting longer to access fertility specialists, and many never reach that point because early evaluation and treatment pathways are limited,” said Dr. Anderson. “OBGYNs are uniquely positioned to provide the first line of fertility care. This program equips physicians with the skills, confidence and systems they need to deliver evidence-based fertility services directly within their practices.”
Expanding the fertility care pipeline at the point of first contact
OBGYNs are typically the first and most trusted entry point into reproductive healthcare. Yet historically, most practices have needed to refer patients elsewhere for evaluation and early treatment.
IVF Academy USA’s new accelerated program for OBGYNs is designed to close that gap. The hybrid program includes 14 hours of asynchronous online instruction and individual coursework, as well as a two-day hands-on residency focused on clinical procedural training, including IUI workflows, diagnostic hysteroscopy for in-office procedures, advanced imaging techniques, and revenue operations training covering CPT billing and reimbursement coding for specialized fertility services. Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and leave with practical templates, checklists and protocols that can be immediately implemented, helping clinical OBGYN practices offer more comprehensive care while reducing referral bottlenecks.
Supporting physicians while strengthening practice sustainability
In addition to addressing patient access challenges, the accelerator program is designed to support OBGYN practices in building sustainable fertility service lines.
Based on typical patient volumes, the program outlines a projected annual gross revenue potential of approximately $189,000 from fertility evaluations and services per practitioner seeing approximately 15 or more patients per month requiring fertility services, with estimated profit margins of 65–70% and a projected break-even period of three to four months following program completion.
“These services allow physicians to retain continuity of care while building a more sustainable practice model,” Dr. Anderson said. “When OBGYNs can offer fertility evaluation and early treatment, patients benefit from earlier intervention and practices gain the ability to keep care coordinated under one roof.”
A growing ecosystem of fertility education and workforce solutions
The new OBGYN fertility services program builds on IVF Academy USA’s decade-long expansion from embryology training into clinical, nursing and interdisciplinary fertility education. The organization’s mission is to create scalable, standardized training pathways that help meet the rising global demand for fertility care.
The first cohort of the OBGYN Clinic-Ready Fertility Services Accelerator Program begins May 1, 2026, with limited enrollment available.
