Woman Wows With for KING + COUNTRY Hit, Earns 4-Chair Turn

A young woman wowed with her cover of a for KING & COUNTRY hit and earned herself the rare four-chair turn. Some of the biggest names in music were blown away by her audition, quickly flipping their chairs around for her. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to hear her dazzle with her stunning performance of for KING & COUNTRY’s “God Only Knows” on The Voice.

Like American Idol and America’s Got Talent, The Voice is an immensely popular talent-based competition program. However, unlike those others, the judges on The Voice are literally facing away from those auditioning. The only thing that will cause any of the show’s four judges will be the aspiring musician’s talent.

Judges literally have no idea what the contestants look like and have not heard their backstory or reason for trying out for The Voice. That information comes out after their audition, following the judges’ decision. Those hopefuls must first cause at least one of the four judges to sit up and take notice of their incredible talent. In a clip posted on YouTube, one young woman did much more than that, causing all four judges to turn their chairs around for her almost immediately.

Kirbi, a 24-year-old woman from Alabama, beautifully performed for KING & COUNTRY’s “God Only Knows.” As the first notes left her mouth, Niall Horan and Michael Bublé seemed intrigued and impressed with what they were hearing, both hitting their buttons simultaneously. Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg weren’t far behind, flipping their chairs around for the young woman, hoping to add her to their team.

Following her dazzling audition, Kirbi mentioned some of her motivations and reasons for selecting “God Only Knows” as her audition song.

“But my faith is a big part of who I am, too,” she said. “So, I was so excited to come on here and share that with you guys.”

Michael, during his assessment of her performance, mentioned faith as well.

“Hi, Kirbi,” Michael said. “I’m Michael. My faith is really important to me, too. I love that you chose that song. I love your control. I love your tone. I feel like if I turned on the radio and I heard you, I would know it was Kirbi.”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Matt Redman and Charity Gayle Drop ‘Let Me See Jesus / Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’ Lyric Video

Check out this beautiful song from Matt Redman and Charity Gayle called ‘Let Me See Jesus / Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.’ The song was written by Evan Wickham, Leonard Jarman, and Matt Redman, and it reminds us of the importance of honoring God with every breath we take. There is no other name above the name of Jesus.

‘I’ve sung so many songs, cried out at the top of my lungs
My heart’s still reaching for something deeper something more
Give me old give me new, I just want to sing the truth
Here in these praises let me see Jesus’

The song ‘Let Me See Jesus / Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’ is the first song on Matt Redman’s new album titled Life & Breath and features worship leader Charity Gayle.

“I’ve genuinely enjoyed leading this song; I can feel the people in the room connecting with the heartfelt message of the lyrics each time we lead it,” shares Matt Redman. “It serves as a sincere prayer to see and encounter more of Christ. Having Charity Gayle as a guest on this song is particularly special for me. I have admired her songs from a distance, but over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know both Charity and her husband, Ryan. I sincerely appreciate their passion for Jesus and have great respect for how they carry the responsibility entrusted to them in the world of worship music.”

Matt Redman has released 20 albums during his career, but this one will be his first ever live-studio album. Some of the featured artists on the album include Charity Gayle, Joe L Barnes, and Quintin Trotter.

“This is my first experience with a live-studio project. Usually, recordings are either done live in front of an audience or in a more controlled studio environment,” Matt Redman shares. “For this album, I aimed to find a balance between the two, creating a fully studio-based recording while still capturing the heartfelt energy that we experience in a congregation. We recorded this in Nashville and invited the Lipscomb University Gospel Choir to join us in worship, which created a truly special moment.”

We hope you enjoyed listening to the song ‘Let Me See Jesus / Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’ today!

If I Was Your Father

People often say: if they were the creator of the universe, they'd do things differently than the actual Creator. Naturally, we aren't coming from a Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnificent, perspective. We don’t know how our choices would affect the overall fabric of creation. We say what we say, and believe what we believe, based on a perspective that sees no deeper than the surface. This song attempts to look deeper, in order to understand why God allows us to proudly charge into the outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. If He were to disregard our choices and force us into heaven, it would violate His “free will” covenant with humanity. Just as we are free to choose our next meal, we are also free to reject God, heaven, and the salvation of Jesus. We go where we chose, in life, and afterlife.

Where Do I Go From Here

Once you reach a point of enlightenment, where you’re no longer interested in the earthly pursuits you once thought were so important, and only God becomes your focus, where do you go from there?

Mercy (A Journey From Hell ... to Heaven)

This is the story of a violent, damaged, man's spiritual journey, and the things he had to go through to find himself, and to earn the mercy, from his Savior, that he once refused to grant others.

Now Here I am

Family’s Beautiful Rendition of Beloved Hymn ‘In the Sweet By and By’

If you want to celebrate the future that we have in heaven alongside an adorable musical family, then check out this video. Sing-along to this classic hymn. This is a family’s beautiful rendition of the beloved hymn, ‘In the Sweet By and By.’

The Elias family begins the song in front of a small and beautiful white church. The couple and their three sons stand with joy and confidence as they sing a classic hymn. The father begins with verse 1 as he plays the mandolin.

The chorus comes, and the entire family joins in singing. The mother is on guitar, one son has a tambourine, and the youngest is playing a shaker and cajon. You can hear their precious voices and harmonies. There is a sign on the front of the church sharing that there is a concert that they will be performing.

We get glimpses of video footage from within the gorgeous sanctuary and around the church grounds. The family is color-coordinated, many of the boys have hats on, and everyone has a smile. This family leads us in a hymn about heaven and the promise of our future hope. Whether you are having a wonderful day or a terrible one, watching this and reflecting on the lyrics will help remind your soul of the peace we have in Jesus Christ.

You will love watching this family unit share their giftings with the world. They have such happiness together doing what they love to glorify God. It is truly unique and a blessing to everyone who views it. You will also enjoy the precious small church in the background as a reminder that the Lord does big things in seemingly small spaces. He sees us and is so personal.

“Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.” Psalm 150:1-5

He is truly molding us into His image.

The chorus cries out,

“Whatever you're facing, If you feel like you're breaking
He is picking up the pieces, He is remaking
He's molding your story, Like clay He's reshaping
And in the hands of the Potter, Nothing is wasted”

Worship Team's Stunning ‘Build My Life’ Rendition

Prepare to be blessed with this beautiful moment of genuine worship from a stage. First Baptist Clarksville brings glory to our worthy Savior in this live worship video. Check out this worship team’s stunning ‘Build My Life’ rendition.

The song begins with an intriguing piano melody, and the lead singer begins the song. The chorus comes and wows you with harmonies that will take your breath away. On the second verse, the male vocalist takes the lead, and there are wonderful harmonies. You cannot help but sing along with them.

You will love seeing people of all ages and races on the stage, from the worship team to the choir to the musicians. All of them have come together to adore and honor Jesus as the foundation worth standing on.

The Bridge repeats:

“And I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
And I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken”

This song reminds us that anything we build our lives on other than God is not going to be steady. Jesus is the Rock, and we are called to place our hope and trust in Him. He is the foundation that is not shaken.

When the storms in life come, He holds us steady. As you listen and join in worshipping with this amazing group of believers, may you be reminded that God sees you in your situation right now and He is worth building your life on. We can have peace that He is with us and He will hold us by His strong arm and His right hand.

“Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God.” Psalm 62:5-7

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel (EDM) (Music Video) - Heath Bewley

This is a more contemporary version of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" (EDM). This is a classic song hoping for Christ to come. Christ came to show people the way to God. He died, for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead. Christ will come again to renew the whole world.

Tauren Wells' 'Fight Like Heaven' Lyric Video, Bold Anthem for Standing Firm in Faith

Tauren Wells has released the official lyric video for "Fight Like Heaven," a bold anthem and call for standing firm in faith. The popular and incredibly talented Christian musician has yet another hit on his hands with this powerful and uplifting tune. Watch the short clip to listen to and watch the official Tauren Wells' "Fight Like Heaven” lyric video.

The world is not always a kind, gentle and welcoming place. Not everything in life will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. In fact, often, it's quite the opposite. Of course, the evidence for this is seen everywhere we look, from every television news broadcast to popular social media platforms to our governmental leaders, many of whom seem to delight in making others they deem as opponents as miserable as possible.

But those are just the battles we can see with our own eyes. The Bible says there is much more warring and strife going on behind the scenes, a much more serious and ongoing spiritual battle. If, as a Christian, you've not experienced odd, unexplained forces coming up against you, get ready, because it will happen sooner or later.

It's this spiritual warfare that Tauren sings about in "Fight Like Heaven." If the battle, as Tauren sings, was just a struggle between flesh and blood and the forces of this Earth, we could use weapons, firearms and other battle-tested materials to help carry us to victory, but that is not the case. The evil one is constantly lurking, warring against Christians, trying to get them to stumble and fall and, for that, we are called to equip ourselves with the whole armor of God.

"When I pray, Hell is shaken (oh)
I don't lose ground, I take it (oh)
Jesus' name is a weapon
So, I'll fight like Heaven"

Ephesians 6:12 "For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against authorities and powers, against the world rulers of this dark night, against the spirits of evil in the heavens."
