Sunflower Industrial Acquires Arizona Epoxy Systems

SHAWNEE, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 13, 2025--

Sunflower Industrial today announced the acquisition of Arizona Epoxy Systems (“AES”), one of the Southwest region’s leading commercial and industrial resinous flooring system installers, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. Sunflower Industrial, based in Kansas City, is the parent Company of Epoxy Coating Specialists ("ECS"), also based in Kansas City and Desco Floor Systems (“Desco”) based northeast of Indianapolis in Fortville, Indiana. Sunflower is the largest self-performing resinous flooring provider in the United States.

As part of the transaction, William Marin will continue to be the operations leader at AES and Scott Whited will join as AES’s General Manager. Together, Scott and William will lead AES as Sunflower Industrial’s Southwest Region Headquarters and will partner with Desco and ECS to support Sunflower Industrial's national offering.
