TDI Welcomes Vanessa Sussman as Chief Marketing Officer

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 25, 2025--

TDI, a global strategic advisory and risk intelligence firm, today announced the appointment of Vanessa Sussman as Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer. She will join the leadership team and report to the CEO.

Sussman will lead TDI’s global brand strategy as the firm expands its advisory, due diligence, investigations, and software solutions into new markets and regions. She will focus on raising TDI’s visibility among key audiences and aligning marketing with commercial priorities.

Sussman brings more than 25 years of experience leading global marketing and communications strategies across corporations, advisory firms, startups, multilateral organizations, universities, and nonprofits. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Eurasia Group and GZERO Media. Prior to that, she led private markets communications at Nuveen, the asset management arm of TIAA, and held senior marketing roles at Morningstar. Earlier in her career, she worked with Group SJR, Council of the Americas, Foreign Policy magazine, and the US Mission to the United Nations.

Sussman serves on the board of City Year New York, supporting public schools in NYC, and is a member of the communications advisory board member for the Museum of American Finance. She holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
