United Building Solutions Acquires DFW Mechanical Group

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 20, 2026--

United Building Solutions (“UBS”), a leading provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (“HVAC”) services across the United States, today announced that it has acquired DFW Mechanical Group (“DFW” or the “Company”), a full-service commercial and industrial mechanical contractor serving clients across Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida.

Headquartered in Wylie, Texas, DFW delivers comprehensive commercial HVAC solutions, offering a full range of services including plumbing, heating, and piping. The Company will operate as a UBS division under the continued leadership of President Brett Thomas, a seasoned executive with more than three decades of industry experience.

With the acquisition of DFW, UBS’ footprint now extends across the Southeast and South-Central United States in addition to its existing Northeastern United States coverage.
