The price of concert tickets is generally pretty high, but that doesn’t stop fans from seeing their favorite acts. Nothing can replace the experience of watching a musician in person.

Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift thrilled audiences with their live shows in 2023. Luckily, 2024 and 2025 promise more of the same with familiar musical acts.

No matter which genre of music you prefer, you’re almost sure to find a show that appeals to you. Get your concert clothes ready and prepare to be entertained.

Billy Joel (2024)

The Piano Man will sing his songs in several 2024 concerts, including a one-night-only solo show in Inglewood, California. Other dates throughout the fall feature guests like Rod Stewart and Sting. Joel’s touring history dates back to 1977, so it’s not a stretch to say he knows how to put on a show.

Joel’s extensive catalog includes hit songs like “Allentown,” “Uptown Girl,” “Honesty,” and “New York State of Mind.” His fans are some of the most loyal on the concert circuit, especially when he performs at Madison Square Garden. Tickets to his shows sell out incredibly fast and are hard to come by in the secondary market.

Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire (2024)

The Heart & Soul tour features not one, but two legendary bands from the 1970s, Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire. Baby boomers and Generation X will appreciate the significance of this pairing. With 11 Grammy Awards won and more than 200 million albums sold between them, this tour is a concertgoer’s dream.

Both groups have a slew of hits between them. Chicago is famous for songs like “Colour My World,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” and “You’re the Inspiration.” Earth Wind & Fire gets audiences dancing with hits like “Boogie Wonderland,” “Let’s Groove,” and of course the greatest feel-good anthem ever “September.”

Eminem (2024)

There’s a lot of speculation that Eminem will hit the road in 2024 or 2025 to support his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), released in 2024. As of this writing, a full-scale concert tour hasn’t been scheduled, but he’s performing at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

Slim Shady, given name Marshall Mathers III, will likely perform songs from his current album, but he’ll also likely sing some of his previous hits, including “Sing for the Moment,” “Not Afraid,” and “Lose Yourself.” One of the biggest questions is will any of his collaborators, like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, or D12 will make guest appearances.

Lionel Richie (2024)

He may be known to millions as an American Idol judge, but Lionel Richie has had a monumental career as a singer, songwriter, and music industry producer. Smash hit tunes like “ Lady,” sung by Kenny Rogers, and “ Endless Love,” performed with Diana Ross, were written by Richie, who also produced the latter.

Richie was the lead singer of the R&B group, the Commodores which had its share of popular records in the 1970s, such as “Brick House,” “Easy,” and “Sail On” before he started his solo career with his self-titled album. He became one of the most popular singers of the 1980s with “Hello” and “Dancing on the Ceiling.” His Las Vegas residency runs from September to November, so there’s still time to catch him live.

Metallica (2024)

The heavy metal group’s M72 World Tour began in 2023 and continues through 2024 with shows in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich are bringing their substantial song catalog to their international fans. When other metal bands have come and gone, Metallica has proven that they’re here for the duration.

Formed in 1981, Metallica has experienced several changes to its lineup, but the music has been a constant. With songs like “The Unforgiven,” “Enter Sandman,” and “The Day That Never Comes,” the band shows that it can hold its own against the best of them because they set the heavy metal bar high.

P!nk (2024)

When it comes to putting on a visual and vocal extravaganza, it’s hard to top Alecia Moore, aka P!nk. Her Summer Carnival Tour, which runs through October, continues her tradition of shows in which she shows her daring and death-defying acrobatic feats. They’re a bonus to her incredible singing voice.

P!nk has several hit singles under her belt, including “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” “There You Go,” and “Please Don’t Leave Me.” Her fans in the U.S. and Canada have the opportunity to see her perform live through the middle of November. If you want a concert experience like no other, treat yourself to a P!nk show.

George Strait (2024)

One of the giants of country music, George Strait isn’t the flashiest performer to come out of Nashville, but he’s one of the most consistent, with a career dating back decades. He’s more than earned the title of the King of Country Music, with tunes like “I Just Want to Dance With You,” and “I Hate Everything.”

Strait is scheduled to perform one show in December, in Las Vegas, Nevada, appearing with fellow country singer Chris Stapleton and the group Little Big Town. Whether you’re a new country music fan or someone who has followed the genre for years, you’ll want to see this legend live and in person.

Sting (2024)

The former frontman for the Police is still going strong with a music career that started in the 1970s. As a group member and solo artist, Sting has numerous popular songs in his repertoire, including “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Fields of Gold,” and “We’ll Be Together,” which has a companion video that’s the essence of cool.

Sting’s 3.0 Tour is named because he’s traveling throughout North America with two other performers as a trio. He’s also one of the musical acts in the U.S. Formula 1 race in Austin, Texas. Sting has fans from multiple generations, some from his musical career, and others from his outings in acting, like when he played himself in the Hulu show Only Murders in the Building.

Andrea Bocelli (2024)

The Italian tenor with the heavenly voice has concert dates set in Africa, Europe, and the U.S. throughout 2024 and some in 2025. His voice has dazzled audiences large and small for more than three decades. Bocelli has one of those voices that stops you in your tracks because it’s so pure and melodic.

The singer has been featured in several operas and at the coronation of King Charles III. He’s sure to perform several of the songs from his expansive catalog, including “Con Te Partiro” and “The Prayer,” which he recorded with Cèline Dion but also performs solo. He’s a once-in-a-generation talent that shouldn’t be missed.

Foreigner (2025)

Led by Mick Jones, one of the founders of Foreigner, the group has been active since 1976. He created the band intending to achieve a combination of rock, blues, and R&B. Based on the number of hits Foreigner has to its credit and the group’s crossover appeal, he more than accomplished that feat many times over.

Their 2024 tour extends into 2025, so if you miss the chance to see them this year, you can make plans to catch them next year. If you’re fortunate enough to see them in concert, you’ll probably hear hit tunes like “Hot Blooded,” “I Don’t Want to Live Without You,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

Celtic Woman (2025)

The ensemble is celebrating 20 years together and is on their Anniversary Tour throughout 2024 and 2025. They’ve also released an album and DVD celebrating the milestone. Celtic Woman debuted in 2005, and since then, they’ve taken the world by storm with their blending of modern and traditional Celtic musical stylings.

The group of talented musicians has released nearly 20 albums, including several Christmas-themed ones. Audiences at their shows can expect to hopefully hear songs like “Tir Na Nog,” “The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun,” and “The Lakes of Pontchartrain.” Between the instrumentals and the vocals, ticket holders will be in for a delightful evening.

Ed Sheeran (2025)

If you’re fortunate enough to be traveling through Europe next year, you’ll have the chance to see Ed Sheeran perform live in several countries, including Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland. He’s already had a few American shows earlier this year, but won’t be returning stateside on the next leg of his tour.

The soulful red-haired crooner is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his album titled x or Multiply. His fanbase will be thrilled to see him perform songs like his 2016 Grammy Award winner “Thinking Out Loud,” along with other well-known tracks like “Shape of You,” “The A Team,” and “Perfect.”

Rod Stewart (2025)

The ageless Rod Stewart is back on tour again, to the delight of fans everywhere. His 2024 travels continue through next year, with a Las Vegas residency as the highlight of his shows. Incredibly, Stewart’s career can be traced back to the early 1960s and he continues to be one of the most popular musical acts worldwide.

Stewart hit his stride in the 1970s as a solo artist with songs like “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” “Maggie May,” and “Tonight’s the Night.” His streak of hits continued in the 1980s with “Forever Young,” and “Some Guys Have All the Luck.” In the 1990s he touched many hearts with his rendition of “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.”

Yo-Yo Ma (2025)

Classical music lovers have a 2024-2025 tour from musician Yo-Yo Ma to look forward to. He’s released more than 120 albums and has won 19 Grammy Awards. The globally famous cellist grew up as a child prodigy, eventually studying at the Juilliard School and continuing his education at Harvard University.

One of the qualities that makes Yo-Yo Ma such a brilliant cellist is his ability to make music more approachable to diverse audiences and not just the black-tie crowd. He’s performed covers of songs like “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz and “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music.

Usher

After his spectacular performance at this year’s Super Bowl, when he reminded audiences who he was and what he could do, it only made sense for Usher to go on tour in 2024 and 2025. The 2024 leg of his Past Present Future tour has already sold out at many venues, and there’s every reason to believe that’ll continue next year.

Mr. Raymond has been in the music business since he was a teenager and has a song catalog to back it up. Past tracks like “You Make Me Wanna…,” “OMG,” and “Yeah!” combined with present tunes like “Ruin” makes you wonder what he has up his sleeve for the future. The fans are here for it!
