Hello and happy November. I don’t know about you, but once Halloween is over, I officially shift into holiday mode—specifically thinking about plans and curating menus for Thanksgiving and Christmas. So that is what I will be bringing to you for the next eight or so weeks.

The rest of this month I will be offering all of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes and a preparation timeline just before the holiday.

This week, I thought I would get the biggest dish “hurdles” so to speak out of the way. I’m bringing you my tried and true recipes for turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes, as well as my absolute favorite pie to make every year. This is the easiest turkey you will ever make, and it really does come out extremely well. Make the gravy along with it as it roasts, and make these classic mashed potatoes to go with. Add garlic or other seasonings if you’d like, but they’re perfectly creamy and delicious without any additions.

I hope you enjoy these recipes and maybe they’ll become mainstays at your Thanksgiving table like they are at mine. Cheers and blessings from my table to yours!

Aimee
