Meet your Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia

Blaise Ingoglia built his reputation by holding government accountable, long before he held public office. Originally from New York, Blaise moved to Spring Hill, Florida, in 1996 with just $1,600 to his name. He soon found success as a mortgage broker and later founded Hartland Homes, a homebuilding company dedicated to helping working families achieve the dream of homeownership.

Ingoglia’s interest in public service was sparked in 2007 when he noticed local governments “going wild” spending property tax dollars. That frustration led him to launch Government Gone Wild, a viral video series and public seminar campaign aimed at exposing government waste and out-of-control spending. His YouTube channel has garnered nearly 8 million views, helping to spark a broader national conversation about fiscal responsibility.

Over time, Blaise became a respected voice for transparency and common-sense governance, serving in the Florida Senate, representing the 11th district, from 2022 to 2025, and the Florida House of Representatives from 2014 to 2022 in the 35th district, as well as chairman of the Republican Party of Florida from 2015 to 2019. But long before that, he was just a homebuilder with a camcorder, a YouTube channel, and a determination to make sure taxpayer dollars were treated with respect.

And yes, fittingly for someone named Blaise, he now serves as Florida’s State Fire Marshal and works every day to support firefighters in their life-saving missions.

Chief Financial Officer of the State of Florida

Blaise Ingoglia serves as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer and State Fire Marshal, overseeing billions of dollars in taxpayer assets and leading the Florida Department of Financial Services. His role includes managing the state’s finances, rooting out fraud, increasing financial transparency, and supporting first responders across the state.

As CFO, Blaise continues his mission to protect taxpayers by shining a light on government inefficiency and promoting smart budgeting practices. He also oversees Florida’s Division of Unclaimed Property, helping reunite residents with lost funds, and leads the Criminal Investigations Division, which fights insurance fraud, arson, and public assistance abuse.

Whether working to improve financial literacy, strengthen emergency response systems, or increase efficiency in state spending, CFO Ingoglia brings the same passion, energy, and no-nonsense attitude that first put him on the map.

Blaise lives in Spring Hill with his wife, Julie, and their dogs. He is a proud husband, father, entrepreneur, and public servant who believes that good government starts with accountability and a lot of common sense.

State Fire Marshal

The state's CFO also serves as Florida's State Fire Marshal. The Division of State Fire Marshal provides various fire-related training, education and services throughout the state, from assisting local fire departments by conducting consumer education to training citizens at one of the finest fire-training colleges in the state.

Florida Cabinet Member

Florida's CFO serves as one of three constitutionally elected state executives of the Florida Cabinet, which comprises the Chief Financial Officer, the Attorney General, and the Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
