The suspect in the deadly Bourbon Street attack in New Orleans has been identified at 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar. He was reportedly born and raised in Texas and served in the U.S. Army. Officials now say they believe he did not act alone.

Jabbar was wearing full military gear and had an ISIS flag and multiple explosives in the truck. The FBI is now working to determine if Jabbar had links to terrorists. They are also asking for the public’s help urging those who may have information, pictures or videos to contact them.

The deadly attack in the popular French Quarter that killed at least 10 people and injured dozens more is being investigated by the FBI as an act of terrorism. Police say after the suspect drove through the crowd he jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire.

Two officers were injured in the shootout and have been taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive.

Meanwhile the Sugar Bowl between Notre Dame & Georgia – that was set to be held tonight – will be postponed until Thursday.

President Trump responded to the attack saying:

"When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true. The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before. Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department. The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!"
