Detroit Mercy went 15-15 overall with an 11-5 record at home during the 2024-25 season. The Titans averaged 16.7 points off of turnovers, 7.7 second-chance points and 0.6 bench points last season.

Central Michigan went 14-17 overall with a 6-8 record on the road last season. The Chippewas averaged 64.4 points per game while shooting 38.2% from the field and 31.2% from deep last season.
