ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 4, 2026--
Core Education, a strategic transformation partner to higher education institutions, today announced the launch of CoreXP™, the first AI-powered operating model purpose-built for higher education. Institutions are moving quickly to adopt AI. But most are applying technology within legacy decision structures, disconnected data systems, and incremental budgeting frameworks. The result is experimentation without enterprise impact.
According to the 2025 EDUCAUSE AI Landscape Study, 57% of higher education leaders identify AI as a strategic priority. Yet only 22% report having an institution-wide AI strategy, and more than half acknowledge that AI initiatives remain fragmented.
The constraint is not AI capability; it is institutional design. AI does not generate value inside fragmented governance, misaligned decision rights, or disconnected data architecture. Without structural redesign, AI becomes experimentation, not enterprise performance.
CoreXP embeds AI into the institutional core by:
- Establishing executive alignment by clarifying institutional priorities, governance, and decision rights.
- Building a shared operating intelligence layer that connects finance, enrollment, and academic data, shifting capital allocation from incremental budgeting to decisions based on margins and long-term return.
- Strengthening net tuition revenue forecasting and academic portfolio strategy through integrated pricing, demand, cost, and labor-market modeling.
- Equipping boards with forward-looking visibility into risk and capital exposure, moving oversight from reporting to predictive governance.
“Higher education is not short on ambition. What it lacks is an operating model built for the speed and complexity of the AI era,” said Kamalika Sandell, CEO of Core Education. “CoreXP helps institutions redesign how decisions are made and capital is deployed so AI becomes a force multiplier, strengthening financial resilience while advancing mission.”
Core Education will introduce CoreXP through a series of executive briefings, starting on March 25. Higher education leaders interested in learning more may visit core.edu.
