The U.S. Treasury has launched “Operation Economic Outcast” to cut Iran and its global supporters off from the international economy. The campaign targets oil smuggling, illicit finance, and key sectors including digital assets, technology, gold, aviation, and shipping under a zero-leakage policy. Countries and businesses that continue dealing with Iran risk U.S. sanctions and exclusion from the dollar system, while cooperation is expected to strengthen ties with the United States.
