Netanyahu Praises First Meeting With Trump Since Launching Iran War

WASHINGTON (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he had an “excellent” meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House, their first sitdown since launching a joint war against Iran that offered Netanyahu a chance to smooth out strains in their relationship. The closed-door meeting on Tuesday lasted nearly an hour and a half. The White House said it was “positive and productive." Both leaders face growing pressures at home. Netanyahu is up for reelection and is embattled in part because of his deteriorating relationship with the president. Trump is under pressure to end an unpopular war that has wreaked economic havoc ahead of U.S. elections in November.

KY Governor Demands McConnell Prove He Is Fit To Serve Or Resign

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is calling on Sen. Mitch McConnell to prove he is fit to continue serving in office or resign. The 84-year-old McConnell was hospitalized June 14 and disclosed weeks later that it was the result of a fall. McConnell's office this week said he remains in a rehabilitation facility and has not yet been medically cleared to return to the Senate. In his letter, Beshear said he was calling on McConnell to "directly and verbally address the people of Kentucky and provide proof of your capacity to serve, or resign.” Beshear is widely seen as a potential presidential candidate in 2028.

Teen Gets Life Without Parole For Deadly Shooting At Georgia High School

July 28 (Reuters) - A Georgia teenager will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing four people and injuring nine others in a 2024 school shooting, a judge ruled on Tuesday. Colt Gray, 16, who on Friday pleaded guilty to 55 counts including murder and assault charges, appeared impassive as a judge in Barrow County Superior Court delivered his sentence. "Your crimes do reflect permanent incorrigibility," said Judge Nicholas Primm. "You do not seem to be tormented by what you did. You seem to relish following in the footsteps of the murderers you idolize." Primm had had two sentencing options: life with or without the possibility of parole. Gray, a 14-year-old ninth-grader at the time of the September 4, 2024, shooting, brought an assault-style rifle he had received as a Christmas present from his father into Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, hidden inside a roll of poster board. His father, Colin Gray, was convicted in March on 27 charges, including second-degree murder, for giving his son the rifle despite what prosecutors said were clear red flags, including a shrine to school shooters in the boy's room. It was a rare prosecution of a parent in connection with a child's mass shooting in the United States. Colin Gray is expected to be sentenced on Thursday. Colt Gray was charged as an adult for the shooting, in which he killed students Christian Angulo and Mason Schermerhorn, both 14, and teachers Cristina Irimie, 53, and Richard Aspinwall, 39. In hearings on Monday and Tuesday, prosecutors argued that Gray was still driven by a desire to achieve the notoriety of other school shooters he admired. They played recordings of jailhouse calls weeks after the shooting in which Gray asked his mother to tell him how the Internet's "true crime community" was reacting to his rampage. During one such call, Gray laughed and said he was "in the big leagues... and not in a bad way." "The shooting was not the culmination of the plan -- [it] was just one of the steps," said Barrow County District Attorney Brad Smith in his closing argument on Tuesday. "The plan was ultimate and lifelong fame." Smith dismissed the defense's efforts to show that Gray could be rehabilitated and safely rejoin society one day, comparing the teenager to a shark with inescapably violent instincts. Gray's defense attorney, Charlton Allen, sought to show that Gray's traumatic and unstable childhood pushed him to embrace an online community that idolized violent crime. Allen presented testimony from figures in Gray's life, including his grandmother, that Gray's parents abused drugs and neglected his basic needs. Gray's shooting was his way of "reflecting the behaviors of the community that seems to be willing to accept him when his own parents won't," Allen said in his closing argument.

Trump Officials Launch Probe Of 2 School Districts Over Alleged Testosterone Vials, Kissing Exercise

The U.S. Department of Education said Tuesday it was investigating allegations that a high school teacher in the Denver school district required students of the same sex to kiss in front of a class and a district in Washington state displayed vials of testosterone in a Pride month exhibit. The probes will determine whether the Bethel School District, about an hour south of Seattle, and Denver Public Schools violated a federal law that gives parents the right to opt out of school evaluations on topics including sex behavior or attitudes, the department said. “Parents must be the decision-makers in matters impacting the most intimate parts of their children’s lives," Frank Miller, director of the Student Privacy Policy Office at the Education Department, said in a statement. Denver schools spokesman Scott Pribble said in a statement the district put the teacher on administrative leave and completed an investigation after students raised concerns in March 2025. The statement did not specify what prompted students' concerns. The Board of Education fired the teacher in May, he said. “The safety, emotional well-being, and dignity of our students are the absolute highest priorities of DPS,” the statement said. “Our actions to date have been wholly consistent with those priorities.” Bethel School District said in a statement that the vials in a display at Graham-Kapowsin High School in June were not authorized by school administrators and were immediately removed and turned over to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office. Testosterone is prescribed for gender-affirming care. The district added that it will cooperate fully with the Education Department's investigation. The two districts are in states headed by Democrats. President Donald Trump is a Republican. The Trump administration has opened dozens of investigations into schools that make accommodations for transgender and LGBTQ+ students, often taking aim at districts that allow students to use bathrooms or locker rooms that align with their gender identities. It accused Denver schools last year of violating Title IX protections against sex-based discrimination over such a bathroom policy. Trump officials have also pushed against schools accused of keeping information about students’ gender identities confidential from their parents, which the department says is a violation of federal privacy laws. The Education Department tied the new investigations to National Parents’ Day on Sunday. The agency said it will be announcing “significant actions” involving the enforcement of parental rights laws through the week. The display at the high school in the Bethel district contained some vials with a “small amount of unknown liquid,” the district said in its statement. Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Carly Cappetto said school administrators identified the student who brought the vials to campus. The sheriff's office would test the liquid to determine whether it was testosterone — a controlled substance — if prosecutors made that request, she said. An email to the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office was not immediately returned. The district said in its statement it is reviewing its protocols for overseeing displays to “ensure all school materials strictly align with our educational standards and community expectations." “Our primary focus remains on maintaining a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment for all of our students,” it added.

The Woke Mob Loses AGAIN!

Josh opens the show by discussing the departure of the Cracker Barrel CEO following a controversial tenure that many believe strayed from the company's iconic brand. Josh argues that it is yet another example of consumers rejecting companies that embrace woke corporate activism, and why the Left continues to lose ground in the culture war. Josh also breaks down the latest developments surrounding Anthony Fauci as new information emerges about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. With Fauci set to testify before lawmakers in Washington tomorrow, Josh previews what to watch for and why the hearing could have major implications. Finally, Josh reflects on the legacy of the late Senator Lindsey Graham as family, friends, and political leaders gather to honor his life and decades of public service. Josh looks back on Graham's impact on the conservative movement, his influence on American foreign policy, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Trump Eulogizes Sen. Lindsey Graham At Service In D.C.

President Donald Trump remembered former Senator Lindsey Graham as someone who became a “constant fixture of American politics at the highest level, and a force to be reckoned with all over the world.” “For more than 30 years, nothing of consequence happened in this capital without Lindsey Graham knowing about it. Nothing of significance happened anywhere in the world without Lindsey Graham having a view on it,” Trump said. “And no bill became law in the most exceptional Republican human history without Lindsey Graham having a say in it.” “He was a man who gave America the full measure of his good and mighty heart until that heart itself just gave out,” Trump said. Trump said Graham “went out at the peak of his career and the top of his game.”
