Lara sits down with three-time Olympic gold medalist Kaillie Humphries for an inspiring conversation about balancing elite competition and motherhood. Kaillie shares her message to women and mothers to pursue their goals without limitation, pushing back on the idea that having children should hold anyone back from achieving greatness.
She also explains the personal and symbolic reasons behind her decision to give President Trump her Ikkos medallion, detailing what the honor represents and why she felt compelled to pass it along.
Later, Lara is joined by former Texas Congressman Jeb Hensarling. They break down a proposed Department of Labor regulation that could expand retirement investment options for millions of Americans. Jeb explains how the changes could impact everyday investors, increase flexibility, and reshape long-term retirement planning strategies.
Authorities in Virginia say former Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax is dead after a shooting inside his family home that left his wife dead in what police are describing as a murder-suicide.

The investigation is ongoing.

The French government is urging the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to release an 86-year-old French woman who has been held in immigration custody after being detained earlier this month.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers detained Marie Thérèse Ross in Alabama on April 1 after authorities say she overstayed her 90-day visa.
She is currently being held at a federal immigration detention facility in Louisiana.
French officials have raised concerns about the case and are pressing for her release as diplomatic discussions continue with U.S. authorities.
A man has been charged in a string of deadly attacks across the Atlanta suburbs that left two women dead and another person critically injured.
Authorities say the suspect, a 26-year-old U.S. citizen, is accused of carrying out three early morning attacks in separate locations.
One of the victims was a Department of Homeland Security employee who officials say was killed while walking her dog.
Investigators believe at least one of the attacks may have been random, and the case has drawn national attention as authorities continue working to determine a motive.
President Donald Trump is set to speak in Las Vegas today, where he will promote the tax cuts he signed into law last year.
The president is expected to highlight benefits for workers, including those who earn tips and overtime, saying many are seeing larger returns this tax season.
The trip is part of a broader push to spotlight the administration’s economic policies ahead of Tax Day.
Trump is also scheduled to travel to Phoenix tomorrow to attend a Turning Point USA event, continuing his outreach efforts.

Officials say discussions remain active and productive, with the possibility of another round of negotiations in the coming days.
Pakistan is expected to play a key role as a mediator, with talks potentially resuming there after earlier negotiations failed to produce an agreement.
Despite ongoing military tensions, the administration says it is optimistic about the chances of reaching a deal, even as a fragile ceasefire deadline approaches.

U.S. Central Command says no vessels have breached the blockade in its first 48 hours, underscoring the scope of the military operation.
President Donald Trump said the war is “very close to over” and claimed China has agreed not to supply weapons to Iran, signaling possible diplomatic movement despite ongoing tensions.
At the same time, U.S. officials are warning that new sanctions could target financial institutions that continue doing business with Iran.
Diplomatic efforts remain underway, with mediators working to extend a fragile ceasefire and prevent further escalation in the region.
A California attorney who advised President Donald Trump on efforts to overturn the 2020 election has been disbarred.
The California Supreme Court ordered John Eastman’s law license revoked, citing misconduct and false claims related to the election.
Officials say Eastman misled courts and public officials in advancing his legal strategy, while his attorney argues the ruling raises constitutional concerns about free speech and legal advocacy.
Eastman says he plans to appeal the decision, marking a major development in the legal fallout from the 2020 election.
